The awa7 card launch campaign centered around our commitment to plant one tree for every 100 euros spent. This meant targeting customers who were passionate about the environment, more likely to be outdoors and reached through OOH, all during a nation-wide lockdown.

Challenge

AWA7, a credit card company, was looking to raise awareness of a product launch of a new credit card targeting university students on college campuses.

Solution

UZE ran the campaign across it’s displays on delivery vehicles and taxis as well as on stationary digital signage. The campaign ran at ten universities across Germany: Aachen, Berlin, Essen, Köln, Heilberg, Heilbronn, Ingolstadt, Nurnberg, Offenbach and Schwabisch. AWA7 utilized UZE’s demographic and location-based ad targeting capabilities.

Results

The campaign resulted in an customer increase of 30%. AWA7 planted a tree for every 100 euros spent on the card resulting in a total of 45,000 new planted trees.
