UZE Mobility announces solutions to supply chain backlog

Updated: Nov 10, 2021

UZE Mobility collaboration with the EU Commission and T-Systems will alleviate global supply chain challenges

Corners new market in mobility location intelligence driven by real-time environmental sensor data collection

UZE Mobility, the data marketplace platform for mobility data and digital out-of-home advertising, announced today that it has partnered with the EU Commission and T-Systems to develop solutions to alleviate global supply chain challenges. The project aims to increase the speed of the supply chain and reduce the backlog in deliveries.

The first implementation of these solutions will focus on the automation of port logistics in Hamburg, Germany as well as the capacity of routes to and from the port. Building off it’s existing data services platform and sensor data gathering solutions, the company will provide real-time traffic monitoring and fleet management.

UZE Mobility will be collecting data from it’s existing suite of sensors, including GPS, temperature, air quality and humidity, CO2 concentration, brightness levels, WiFi, bluetooth devices connected, number of other vehicles on the road and their speed, the flow of traffic, and mobile network connectivity strength. The set of sensors utilized is customized and adjustable to the customer’s business needs. The system utilizes the I²C protocol making it easy to program and update quickly. The data collected can be enriched with data from other sources, for example, weather services, news services or technical service providers, in order to optimize the port area for highest throughput.

Alexander Jablovski, co-founder, CEO and CTO of UZE Mobility, said: “UZE is focused on solving the world’s biggest challenges. The partnership with the EU and T-Systems supports the strength of the new market we’re developing in mobility location-based environmental data. Our technology is uniquely positioned to meet the requirements of pressing global supply chain challenges. Real-time mobility location data is increasingly important across industries, where it has a broad range of applications. We are moving forward with a variety of data-driven business use cases, supporting projects in the field of intelligent traffic and transport systems, which will provide us with the ideal opportunity to build urban use cases. We will be developing real-time transport systems and traffic management for urban applications. Complex usage requirements such as forecasting traffic patterns and vehicle clustering as well as applied solutions for road traffic problems will be developed as well.”

This initiative was the result of the European Commission’s 5G-LOGINNOV award at the ITS World Congress.
